During the break in the matches of the national teams of the first group, Ukrainian referees underwent lie detector testing.

This initiative was presented by Ukrainian journalists, including Volodymyr Zverov.

The testing focused on evaluating the performance of the referees in the spring part of the season.

The first test group included one main referee, one assistant, and one match observer.

This innovation is part of the strategy developed by the new president of the UAF, Andriy Shevchenko, and the new head of the referees’ corps, Kateryna Monzul.

Its goal is to improve trust in referees and raise the standards of professional behavior in Ukrainian football.
