Ukraine’s Stand Against Russian Aggression
Ukraine’s Deputy Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Natalia Kostenko, stated that Russia’s strategy in the war against Ukraine is to destroy any territories to achieve its goals. She emphasized that Russian military forces are suffering significant losses, but this does not deter them from continuing their aggression.
Kostenko also highlighted numerous examples of Russian attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, which have resulted in a large number of civilian casualties.
«In the free world, there is a significant advantage over Russia and its allies, and this advantage needs to be utilized to defeat the aggressor,» the diplomat underscored.
She called on international partners to continue providing political support and military assistance to Ukraine in its fight for territorial integrity.
Ukraine’s Determination to Defend Its Territory
Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, speaking at the annual Aspen Security Forum, stated that Ukraine is mobilizing to defend its territory, regardless of any internal political changes in the United States.
«We believe in the leadership of the United States and in their support. Despite any changes, we will find solutions to continue the fight,» Umerov emphasized.
He also noted that Ukraine will continue to defend its cities and infrastructure from Russian attacks until it regains control over the lost territories.
