On June 28, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerev and the Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan to discuss strengthening strategic cooperation between the countries.

Rustem Umerev stated that a wide range of issues were discussed during the meeting, including security and defense. An important aspect of the meeting was the coordination of efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

The Minister of Defense emphasized that detailed ways to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey in the face of modern challenges were considered, and expressed hope that these initiatives will become a solid foundation for further development of mutual relations. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to work towards implementing these important tasks.
