The village of Robotino under the fire control of Ukrainian defense forces
The village of Robotino on the Orikhiv direction in the Zaporizhzhia region is under the fire control of the Ukrainian defense forces. This is a neutral zone over which neither the Armed Forces of Ukraine nor the Russian army have control.
Mykola Koval, a press officer of the 14th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine «Chervona Kalyna,» reported this on the program «Freedom. Morning» on Radio Liberty.
Russian forces change tactics on the Orikhiv direction
Koval stated that Russian forces have changed their tactics on the Orikhiv direction. They now use smaller groups to storm positions in Robotino, as heavy armored vehicles are ineffective due to Ukrainian reconnaissance and artillery.
«Experienced Russian servicemen are fighting on the Orikhiv direction. They use camouflage techniques to make it difficult to detect their positions,» Koval explained.
These attacks occur several times a day, with Ukrainian forces still maintaining control over Robotino with the help of aerial reconnaissance to monitor movements effectively.
