Traffic resumes along the Ukrainian maritime corridor
Traffic along the Ukrainian maritime corridor has resumed. Today, 14 vessels departed from the ports of Odessa, the correspondent reports. For several days, stormy seas prevented dry cargo ships and tankers from heading towards the Bosphorus.
Departures from different ports
From the docks of the port of Chornomorsk, five dry cargo ships departed — Gold Lacky, Partners, Azara, the 225-meter Kavo Alkyon, the 229-meter Zheng Rong, and the tanker Anchor.
Three dry cargo ships — Lina, Athenai, the 289-meter giant Winnie — and two tankers — Griffin T and Seaven Pride — set sail from the port of Pivdennyi.
The port of Odessa sent three bulk carriers — Hermes, Maranta, and AK Khadeda — to the Bosphorus.
Significant achievements in export
In February of this year, the ports of Odessa shipped eight million tons of Ukrainian products, of which over five million were agro-industrial.
In total, over 1000 vessels have left the ports of Odessa while operating along the Ukrainian maritime corridor. They were able to export 28 million tons of products to 42 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
