Large-Scale Operation Against Drug Traffickers in Ukraine
According to information from RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian police successfully conducted a large operation against drug traffickers, which covered 19 regions of the country and targeted logistical centers. Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Andriy Nebytov announced this on Facebook.
«The criminal police, together with investigators, struck at the logistics network of drug trafficking. A large-scale special operation took place in 19 regions, with 64 searches conducted. The result — the activity of a number of drug shops across the country has been stopped,» Nebytov wrote.
According to him, the police managed to arrest 26 drug dealers, close five drug labs, and expose 57 members of separate criminal groups.
Over 350 law enforcement officers took part in the special operation. With the help of experts, the activity of drug traffickers on Telegram was tracked.
«The main target were the logistical centers through which all the trade was carried out,» specified the deputy head of the National Police.
