A horrible accident with casualties occurred on Thursday, July 18, around 10:15 on Chervonoї Kalyny Avenue in Lviv.
According to the «Varta-1» service, the car accident involved three cars and a route number 41 minibus.
Preliminary information suggests that the brakes failed in the minibus, leading to an uncontrollable movement. Another version talks about the driver’s negligence.
«The minibus simply couldn’t be controlled on the road,» witnesses reported.
Nine people sought medical help at the scene of the accident, two of whom were hospitalized. Among the injured is 76-year-old Tetiana, who was diagnosed with closed cranial brain injury, concussion, and head contusion.
Also hospitalized is a 60-year-old man with an open cranial brain injury, his condition is stable.
«The traffic towards Sihova is closed. The DTP damaged the power lines. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene,» reported the police of Lviv region.
