Head of the Sumy Regional Administration Volodymyr Artyuk
stated that there is a constant strengthening of defensive lines. The defensive lines in Sumy region were set up back in 2023, and now their improvement is ongoing. Volodymyr Artyuk emphasized that the defensive capabilities of settlements located near the border are increasing, and these measures are continuous. He also indicated that Sumy region is studying the experience of Kharkiv region and taking measures to strengthen fortification defensive lines.
Last week, the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov
warned about a possible Russian offensive in Sumy region.
