In the new update of the ChatGPT app for Android, a 4 by 2 widget has been added, which includes five new shortcuts for user convenience.
Shortcuts for Quick Access
These shortcuts allow users to quickly open text, camera, image, voice search, or start a conversation mode right from the phone’s home screen.
The update is available in the beta version of the app and has not yet appeared in the Google Play Store, but users can download it separately.
Exclusive Features for ChatGPT Plus Users
Some widget features, such as camera and image search requests, are only available to ChatGPT Plus paid plan users.
Previously, the integration of a voice assistant on the phone’s home screen was announced, allowing direct access to it from the quick settings panel.
ChatGPT has been available for Android devices for a long time, but there is no information yet about its availability on iOS.
It is expected that the update with the new widget will be available to everyone after the official release of the beta version.
