Police Arrested a 24-Year-Old Resident of Izmail for Stealing Money from Gas Station
Authorities have apprehended a young woman in Izmail who has been stealing money from a gas station over the past few months. The company reported a loss of 240,435 hryvnias due to the theft.
The suspect, who worked as a cashier at the gas station, confessed to taking cash approximately 30 times since December 2023. She cited financial difficulties as the reason for her actions and admitted to using the stolen money for personal expenses.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 191 (embezzlement or misappropriation of property) in connection with the theft.
