Kyiv Region Supports Kharkiv with Generators

Kyiv region continues to send assistance to Kharkiv region in the form of generators with capacities of 520 and 800 kW. Head of the Kyiv Regional Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported the ongoing support.

These generators are crucial for ensuring the operation of critical infrastructure in Kharkiv, including water supply systems, boiler houses, medical facilities, and schools with heating installations.

Recent donations also included 13 powerful generators ranging from 10 to 22 kW, with ongoing collection efforts for additional support. Residents are encouraged to bring power banks, charging stations, and generators to aid points in their communities, as highlighted by Ruslan Kravchenko.

The Bohuslav community in Kyiv region and Cherkasy region are actively contributing to the aid efforts, providing generators, batteries, and other electrical appliances. Meanwhile, Khmelnytsky region has transferred generators and fuel to assist Kharkiv residents.

Since the increased shelling of Kharkiv by Russian forces, critical infrastructure has been impacted, leading to power outages and emergency shutdowns. The support from neighboring regions is essential in helping Kharkiv residents cope with the ongoing crisis.
