Georgia’s European Integration Goals by 2030

Georgia is set to ramp up its readiness for European integration, aiming to become the most prepared candidate country for EU membership by 2030. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze shared this vision in a recent interview.

Optimistic Outlook

«We are committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure Georgia’s successful transition into the European community by 2030. We are confident in our ability to achieve EU membership,» Kobakhidze stated.

Challenges and Hope

The Prime Minister expressed concern over the suspension of funding from Western partners and hopes for a quick restoration of relations with countries supporting Georgia’s pro-Western stance. He acknowledged challenges like foreign agent issues and the visa-free regime but assured that Georgia is actively working to overcome these obstacles.
