The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held a meeting with the President of the Italian Senate Ignazio La Russa, during which he proposed to implement a joint project to restore Ukraine with the support of the Italian parliament. This was reported by Stefanchuk on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
«Perhaps this will be one of the destroyed objects affected by Russian aggression,» he noted.
The meeting was also dedicated to discussing the security situation in Ukraine and the consequences of Russian armed aggression, including destruction due to shelling.
The participants also discussed the prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation and joint initiatives on international platforms.
