European Aquatics Championships in Belgrade
From June 10 to June 23, the European Aquatics Championships took place in Belgrade, where 74 sets of medals were competed for in four disciplines: swimming, open water swimming, diving, and artistic swimming. Ukraine finished in tenth place overall, winning nine medals: three gold, three silver, and three bronze.
Impressive Results
Our swimmers showed the best results at continental championships in the last eight years, winning five medals and taking seventh place in the tournament table of their discipline. Additionally, for the first time since 2006, the Ukrainian team won a medal in the medley relay at the European Championships. Four medals were won by members of the diving team, allowing them to win the Team Trophy.
