During a meeting, the head of the foreign policy department emphasized the need for a large number of Patriot and SAMP/T air defense systems for Ukraine, as well as the constant supply of missiles for these complexes. This was reported by «NBN» with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The diplomat also called on the West to expedite the supply of military aid to Kyiv, especially air defense systems, and stressed the importance of developing the defense industry. The minister noted that victory over the Russian aggressors on Ukrainian territory is key to ensuring stability and peace in Europe.
Kuleba also pointed out the positive impact of lifting restrictions on the use of Western weapons in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which helped stabilize the situation in the Kharkiv region. He emphasized that the Ukrainian forces have demonstrated their effectiveness in the war, having the necessary means.
