In Ternopil, head of state institution detained for issuing fictitious medical certificates
Law enforcement officers in Ternopil have apprehended the head of a state institution who was caught demanding 10,500 hryvnias in exchange for producing fake medical certificates for athletes.
It was revealed during the investigation that the suspect had accepted a bribe of 7500 hryvnias from a coach with the promise of expediting the issuance of the documents. These illegal actions fall under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Ternopil Regional Prosecutor’s Office is overseeing the proceedings of this criminal case.
