Three citizens of Moldova, suspected of creating graffiti with stencil images of coffins and the inscription «French soldiers who died in Ukraine», have been detained by law enforcement officers in Paris. This information was reported by Le Figaro, citing the Paris prosecutor’s office, Ukrinform informs.

Investigation Into Graffiti Incident in Paris

It is noted that law enforcement officers have initiated an investigation into acts of collective damage to state property and conspiracy to prepare a crime. The graffiti was found on a building in the 7th district of Paris, and the exact number of such images remains unknown. It is also unknown whether the detained individuals are linked to an incident where several coffins with French flags and similar inscriptions were placed near the Eiffel Tower. As reported by Ukrinform, on June 1, five coffins with French flags and the inscriptions «French soldiers in Ukraine» were discovered near the Eiffel Tower, and three suspects were detained in connection with this incident.

The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation to identify possible foreign interference.
