Lithuania Joins Coalition to Support Ukrainian Air Defense

Lithuania, along with Germany, France, and the United States, has announced its accession to a joint coalition in support of the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The President of Lithuania shared this information on his Twitter account.

According to him, Lithuania plans to increase its support for Ukrainian air defense systems by providing mobile radars for air surveillance. Emphasizing the importance of effective air defense for Ukraine, he noted that this joint initiative has received support from several countries.

Ukrainian authorities have been in talks with partners regarding support for air defense throughout the spring. At the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, Germany also expressed positive signals about this initiative.
