Israel adjusts military plans in Rafah with U.S. input

Israel is currently reevaluating its strategic military operation plans in Rafah, keeping in mind the concerns and preferences of the United States. A senior official from the White House has stated that Jerusalem is carefully taking into consideration the U.S. concerns and adjusting its plans accordingly.

The United States is against a large-scale military operation in Rafah, stressing the importance of preventing a humanitarian crisis for Palestinian refugees in the area. Although Israel has begun evacuating parts of the city, the U.S. remains worried about the humanitarian situation in the bombarded regions.
