WBC champion Tyson Fury on facing Oleksandr Usyk

WBC champion Tyson Fury has expressed his respect for the heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and cited the reason why he values the Ukrainian fighter.

«I am seriously preparing for the fight with Usyk, doing everything in my power. I respect Usyk as a person, he is a man of faith and family, just like myself. That’s why I value it more than any other boxing achievement,» the Briton stated.

Fury mentioned that Usyk was an Olympic champion and the undisputed cruiserweight world champion.

«I don’t fight guys with a record of 14-11. I fight guys who are called The Real Deal. Even though The Real Deal is Holyfield. I am ready for this challenge,» added Fury.
