The Russian Federation Strikes Mykolaiv with Iskander-M Ballistic Missile

The city of Mykolaiv was struck by the Russian Federation on March 27 with a probable ballistic missile «Iskander-M», as reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Southern Defense Forces.

«The enemy continues to use various types of missile weapons, terrorizing regions of Ukraine. They struck Mykolaiv, presumably with an Iskander-M ballistic missile,» the statement said.

The department noted that the enemy continues to destroy industrial facilities in the city, resulting in injuries among the employees of the enterprise. The information is currently being clarified.

The attack on Mykolaiv was announced at 14:17. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of a ballistic strike in several regions, with explosions heard during the alarm in Mykolaiv.

Later, it was reported that six people were injured, with one in serious condition.

Attack on Ukraine on March 27

In the night of March 27, the Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed strike drones launched from the Kursk region. A total of 13 drones were used, with the air defense managing to destroy 10 drones in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions.
