26-Year-Old Man to Stand Trial for Threatening to Blow Up Building in Lviv

A 26-year-old man will stand trial in Lviv for threatening to blow up a multi-storey building on Shevchenko Street. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv region police.

The incident occurred on March 23, when a local resident, who was intoxicated, declared his intention to blow up the building on Shevchenko Street.

After receiving the report, the police mobilized all resources to check the situation. A comprehensive inspection of the building and the surrounding area was carried out, but no explosive materials were found.

After the pre-trial investigation was completed, the indictment was sent to the court. The man faces a punishment of up to 6 years in prison for making a false report of a threat to public safety.
