Border guards detain wanted individual at “Shehyni” checkpoint
Border guards at the «Shehyni» checkpoint in Lviv region have detained a resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region who has been wanted by the police for almost a year. This was reported by the Western Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service.
During the document check, it was revealed that the 57-year-old man had a court decision against him regarding a search for a number of criminal articles related to the illegal production and storage of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The detained individual has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
