Kharkiv expands public transport network: 2 more trolleybuses and 2 trams

New Trolleybus and Tram Routes Launched in Kharkiv

Two new trolleybus and two tram routes have been launched in Kharkiv. This was reported by the city council.

Today, on April 16, the following routes appeared on the route network:

Trolleybus №12 (runs from Klochkivska street to the emergency hospital);

Trolleybus №18 (runs from Central Park to the emergency hospital);

Tramways №16 and 16A (running in Saltivka).

Tramway №3 serves a shortened route — from the «Vokzal» turning circle to the «Novozhanovo» turning circle.

Trolleybuses №11 and 27 are not running yet.

After the mass shelling of the energy infrastructure on March 22, the city’s electric transport was suspended. Later, its operation was partially restored. On April 11, 58 trolleybuses and 13 trams went out on the streets.
