Electricity Supply Restrictions in Ukraine
In the coming days, on April 18, there may be restrictions on electricity supply for the industry and business in Ukraine due to a power deficit in the system. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a message from «Ukrenergo» on Telegram.
According to «Ukrenergo», controlled electricity supply restrictions may be introduced from 08:00 to 20:00.
«These restrictions will be distributed evenly among businesses and industrial enterprises in all regions of Ukraine,» the company emphasized.
The amount of restrictions will be small and will not affect critical infrastructure objects or the defense-industrial complex.
«The need for energy supply restrictions is a result of mass rocket and drone attacks by Russia on Ukrainian power plants. In recent days, weather conditions have also led to increased electricity consumption in Ukraine, resulting in a power deficit in the energy system,» emphasized Ukrenergo.
