Odessa is actively preparing for the resort season, despite serious damage from winter storms and hostile attacks. Preparation for the summer season is taking place against the backdrop of restoring beach infrastructure and improving water quality in the sea.

From Lanzheron to Chernomorka, there is already noticeable liveliness: cafes and restaurants have started to open, and the first holidaymakers are appearing on the beaches. The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, noted that this year the focus will be not only on recreation but also on health improvement for military personnel and their families. According to him, there are plans to create new beaches and improve existing ones, but this issue requires coordination with local authorities and other services.

Unfortunately, not all beaches are ready to open. Some of them have suffered from natural disasters and require serious restoration. At the same time, ecologists are optimistic about the water quality. Regular monitoring shows that the sea water is cleaner than last year.
