Tragic Incident at Funicular Station in Kyiv

The State Security Service also expressed condolences to the family of the deceased teenager.
«The loss of a child is an unspeakable tragedy and irreparable loss,» the statement said.
The incident on April 7 at the funicular station in Kyiv, which resulted in a conflict between the driver, who serves in the State Security Service, and the minor, is being investigated. After exiting the carriage at the upper station, the law enforcement officer pushed the teenager. According to eyewitnesses, the boy fell onto the glass and died from his injuries.
The law enforcement officer involved in the tragedy at the station has been charged with suspicion.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigations reported the opening of a criminal case on the murder at the funicular station in Kyiv.
According to the Central Regional Defense Prosecution data, the detained suspect was born in 1994.
