Former Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann suggests Jose Mourinho as interim coach

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann has expressed the opinion that the Munich club should appoint Jose Mourinho as an interim coach until the end of the current season.

The ex-player of the team stated this in an interview for the Daily Mail.

«If you’ve seen Bayern’s recent matches, it’s obvious that the team needs changes. Bringing in a different coach for the last weeks of the season is a wise decision. There are many options on the market, and I’m thinking about Jose Mourinho. He could be an excellent choice. Undoubtedly, he has earned attention in his career and has shown impressive results,» said Hamann.

Earlier, the star coach announced his plans to take over a new team next summer.

The last club Mourinho coached was Italian side Roma. Mourinho led the team from 2021 to 2024. Under his guidance, Roma won the Conference League in 2022. This achievement made Mourinho the only coach to win titles in all three existing European club tournaments.
