A New Program Supporting Military Personnel
A program aimed at supporting military personnel in transitioning to civilian life is being launched in Kyiv. The creation of a veteran assistant institute is planned, which will provide necessary assistance in adaptation after returning from the front lines.
Pilot Project with Ministry of Veterans’ Support
Ruslan Svitly, the Director of the Department of Social and Veterans’ Policy of Kyiv City State Administration, noted that this is a pilot project implemented with the support of the Ministry of Veterans. A special commission will select candidates among veterans who will be able to accompany their fellow brothers in the process of integrating into peaceful life.
Competitive Salary and Supportive Role
It is noted that the salary of a veteran assistant, declared by the Ministry of Defense, will be 24-28 thousand hryvnias per month. They will provide consultations and support, as well as possess the necessary skills for successful work in this field.
