In the regional department of the National Police, an incident at one of the schools in the Tarutyne community was reported. Medics from the district hospital informed law enforcement officers about the arrival of six students who were taken to the hospital.
What Happened?
According to preliminary information, during a break in the school corridor, a conflict arose between two female students from the 8th and 9th grades, during which the younger girl sprayed pepper spray towards the older girl.
As a result of the spray, in addition to the senior student involved in the altercation, five other students from the 6th, 7th, and 9th grades who were in the corridor were affected. The school nurse provided first aid to the children, after which they were taken to the district hospital by an ambulance. The police report that the children are in satisfactory condition.
Investigation and Punishment
«During the conversation with the mother of the 14-year-old girl who sprayed the gas, she explained that she bought the spray for her daughter for self-defense,» law enforcement officers said.
The child’s actions are classified as minor hooliganism, but since she has not reached the age at which administrative responsibility for the offense begins, juvenile police will decide on the punishment of her mother. In particular, drawing up a protocol for the mother in accordance with part 3 of article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offenses — committing offenses by minors aged fourteen to sixteen, for which the responsibility is provided for by the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, except for offenses provided for in part 3 or 4 of article 173-4 (bullying) of this Code.

Witnesses Report
Witnesses on social media report that the conflict took place in the village of Petrovsk-1. It is known that the victims were taken to the hospital in a moderate condition, and it turned out that they were poisoned by capsaicin.
