Archaeologists unravel ancient mysteries
Archaeologists have solved the problem of investigating ancient structures that have been left in ruins, particularly the complex of 16 water mills in Barbegal in southern France dating back to the 2nd century AD. Researchers used carbonate deposits formed during the operation of the mills to reconstruct their history and operation in detail.
