Attack on Pensioner Accused of Witchcraft Uncovered in Khmelnytskyi Region
Police in Khmelnytskyi region have uncovered a shocking case of an attack on a 68-year-old pensioner, who was accused of witchcraft practices. According to law enforcement officers, a 27-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman broke into her house, where they beat her, used pepper spray, and even inflicted several knife wounds.
The criminals attempted to abduct the pensioner, loading her into the trunk of a car with the intention of taking her to a forest. However, the police arrived at the scene in time: the victim managed to call for help by dialing 102 when the attackers tried to break into her house.
The attackers were arrested at the scene. They were in a state of intoxication and explained their actions by claiming that the pensioner was involved in witchcraft rituals.
