Capital Law Enforcers Detain Suspect in Robbery of Schoolgirl
Reports from Kyiv police indicate that a 24-year-old man has been detained for robbing a 16-year-old schoolgirl from Kyiv after inviting her on a date.
The victim reported that she had recently met the man, who proposed a meeting. However, upon meeting him, he stole her personal belongings before fleeing the scene.
The suspect, a resident of the Cherkasy region, was apprehended by law enforcement officers, who recovered the victim’s mobile phone, bag, and bank cards. The man now faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison for the robbery committed during a state of emergency, as outlined in part 4 of article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
