With the entry into force of the new mobilization law in Ukraine, starting from May 18, draft notices can now be handed out not only by TCK employees.
Who and where can hand out draft notices?
Draft notices can be handed out by:
- authorized representatives of TCKs and SP;
- representatives of district, city state administrations (military administrations);
- representatives of local self-government bodies;
- employers.
Authorized persons have the right to hand out draft notices both at the place of residence and at any public or work place.
Mobilization in Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the procedure for calling up for military service during mobilization, specifying the processes of handing out draft notices, checking registration documents, granting deferments, and undergoing medical examinations.
It is worth reminding that at the beginning of May, the Verkhovna Rada extended the martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. They will be in effect for another 90 days, until August 11, 2024.
