NASA Announcement: 220-Meter Asteroid to Approach Earth
NASA has announced the approach of the 220-meter asteroid 2024 NF to Earth on July 17. This celestial object will be approaching our planet for the first time at a distance of only three million kilometers. According to the agency, the asteroid will be moving at a speed of 73,044 km/h and meets the criteria of a «potentially hazardous object» as it will come closer to Earth than 7.5 million kilometers and has a size of over 150 meters.

At the same time, the Hubble Space Telescope has captured images of the spiral galaxy NGC 4951, located 49 million light-years away from Earth. This galaxy, which belongs to the Seyfert galaxies, is characterized by a very bright and active core. The photograph was made possible by studying the movement of matter and energy in its neighboring regions.
