Court in Kryvyi Rih took child away from mother who poisoned her with drugs

In winter 2024, a court in Kryvyi Rih made a decision regarding the case of a mother whose two-year-old boy was poisoned with drugs.

The woman had laid out drugs on her phone to take them, but got distracted, and at that moment the child swallowed her dose. The child was taken to the hospital with poisoning, and a criminal case was opened against the mother, as reported by «Vidomo» citing «Na Chasi».

Despite the woman admitting her guilt and undergoing treatment, the court decided to take the boy away from her.

Now the child will live with his father, who lives separately. Additionally, the woman was ordered to pay child support for her son.
