At WWDC 2024, Apple introduced a new program called Passwords, which expands the capabilities of iCloud Keychain and synchronizes your passwords across more devices. Now, with Passwords, Apple is releasing a separate program for managing passwords and access keys on a larger number of devices, including the Apple Vision Pro headset, as well as Mac computers, iPhone, and iPad. It also syncs with PCs through the iCloud for Windows program.

Just like the previous rumors, Google Chrome and Android. Now you can also view your Wi-Fi passwords in one place and share passwords in groups with people you choose.
Advantages of Apple’s Passwords program
One of the great advantages may be that the program will integrate even more deeply with your Apple logins and family access settings than other options, like 1Password or Bitwarden. And with Apple’s support, this may seem like a safer option for people concerned about security breaches that have occurred with others, such as LastPass.
For many years, Apple users have had to retrieve saved passwords from the Safari settings window, and then from the Mac system settings or iOS settings. Now in the Passwords app, everything is in one place, including confirmation codes and security notifications.
